Rental Questions

1. What is the minimum age to rent or operate a Boat or Jetski?

   As of 2010 the law changed and you now have to be 21 years of age or 18 with a NM Boaters Safety Card to rent and operate a watercraft. 

2. Is Fuel included in the Rental Price?

   We provide you with a full tank of fuel and you are responsible for what fuel you use. We sell Marine Grade fuel right at our Marina so you can fuel up at our Marina or any other Marina on the lake. We top off all watercraft at check in and it is added to your account

3. Do you take Debit or Credit cards?

   Yes, we take both but please note if you use a debit card(a card associated with your checking account) the authorized amount takes up to 5 business days to be released by your bank. 

4. Who has to be at the check out?

   Anyone who is going to be driving the watercraft needs to be present to sign the paperwork and go through the orientation.  Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to take care of the check out procedures.

5. Are Pets allowed on the Boats?

   We recommend you make other arrangements for your pets, however pets are allowed for an addition non refundable charge of $25.00 per pet. If any damage is done from your pet it will be deducted from your damage deposit. 

6. Do we get charged a cleaning fee?

   There is a $25.00 cleaning fee on any boat returned dirty. Our definition of dirty is stains on the carpet, full of sand or mud, food or drink spilled, or any pet hair. We do understand you are on a lake too.

7. Do you offer Insurance?

   No, you are responsible for any damage to the watercraft. We require a $300 dollar damage deposit plus the rental amount. The starting rate for a Boat/Jetski mechanic is $60 an hour plus the parts. We expect you take care of it like it was yours. 

8. Can we rent more then one Jetski?

   Do to the extreme number of accidents and personal injury, we no longer rent more then one jetski per group of people.  Even if you come in separately or at different times we can not rent an additional jetski. But for large groups we recommend that in addition to renting the jetski you also consider renting a skiboat and or pontoon boat. Please note groups trying to rent multiple jetski's and later discovered will both lose their damage deposit. This is for your own safety and the safety of others.  Thank you for your cooperation. 

9. Are there restricted areas for the Jetski?

   For all 1 and 2 hour rentals there is a six square mile zone. For those renting 3 hours are more with a $300 deposit you have the entire lake to explore.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

    On regular day and weekend reservations we require a 24 hour (before pickup time) advanced notice of cancellation to avoid any penalties. Any cancellation in the 24 hour bracket or a no-show will be charged a $200 cancellation fee.

    On Holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends and the Friday and Monday that joins it) we have a no cancellation policy and all reservations require prepayment in full. All Reservations are Final. There are no refunds in the event of a cancellation or reschedule.
